Coding Ireland: Race Autonomous Cars Event for 8-12 year olds

Attendees will be split into teams as we teach them how to program the robotic cars to follow the lines around a race track. Each team gets test runs where they can try and improve the code so that their car will go faster without crashing off the track.

Then we pit the teams against each other in a series of races to find the team with the fastest car. As well as learning how to program the car, students practice teamwork, creativity and innovation by working together to incrementally improve their race car.
